“It is still pandemic.” Thus said Bataan Board Member Jorge Estanislao, chair of committee on health in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial board) who said face mask is still a must more particularly in indoors and in open spaces.

“Sa indoors lalo na kung closed spaces at walang masyadong ventilation mas mabuting mag face mask pa,” Estanislao said in a chat with this reporter recently. The board member from Morong, who is a medical practitioner before he entered politics bewailed the fact that still many people remained unvaccinated much less received booster shot.

“If vaccinated, many of them have yet to get booster shot,” he said. “This pandemic situation had been with us for this long, so let us hope that most of us already know what protocols to take to avoid Covid-19 virus,” Estanislao said.
